Roy Eiguren is a partner in SULLIVAN REBERGER EIGUREN and has more than 30 years experience in governmental relations and energy, environmental and regulatory issue management. Most recently, he was President of Eiguren Public Policy Firm, which he founded in 2007. In December 2010, Mr. Eiguren merged his practice with Sullivan & Reberger.

Mr. Eiguren is Of Counsel to the Capitol Law Group in Boise and also a Director of Idaho Independent Bank, one of Idaho's largest state chartered banking institutions. He serves as the Chairman of both the Nominating and Compensation Committees of the bank's Board of Directors as well as the Board's Audit Committee. Recently, Mr. Eiguren was a Director of Avista Corporation, a Fortune 1000 electric and natural gas utility, where he served as Chairman of the Energy, Environment, and Operations Committee of the Avista's Board of Directors and served on the Board's Audit Committee. Mr. Eiguren was also a member of the Board of Advisors of Exergy Development Company, a renewable energy development and operations company operating in twelve states. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and is a recipient of the Association's Certificate of Director Education.

Prior to private practice, Mr. Eiguren served as the Special Assistant to the Administrator and CEO of the Bonneville Power Administration of the United States Department of Energy, as a Deputy Attorney General and as a Deputy Secretary of State of Idaho, and as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney of Ada County, Idaho.

He is the President of the Cenarrusa Center for Basque Culture and is a past Chairman of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Idaho State Capitol Commission. He currently serves as a member of the Private Sector Board of Directors of the Pacific Northwest Economic Region, a statutory public/private partnership that facilitates cooperation and coordination among 5 U.S. states and 3 Canadian provinces. He is active in Idaho's Basque community and has served as co-host for Paxti Lopez, the President of the Autonomous Government of the Basque Region of Spain, and other Basque dignitaries during official visits.

Mr. Eiguren is a graduate of the Executive Program of the Graduate School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and attended the Georgetown University College of Law and the University Of Idaho College Of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate.
